Espresso Tutorials offers you learning media that focuses on the essentials for your journey from taking initial steps as a beginner to becoming an SAP professional.
Our SAP learning platform, et.training, gives you access to our entire range of e-books and videos. Our motto: "Learn SAP anytime, anywhere, and on any device".
Here in our documentation, you will find all the information and instructions you need to use our et.training learning platform.
Access
Free trial
You can try out our learning platform free of charge and without obligation with our 7-day trial version. Simply register at https://et.training/free-trial. The trial access ends automatically; no cancellation is required.

Sign in
After successful registration, you will receive an email with a link to set your password. This link is valid for 1 hour. Once you have set your password, you can log in at https://et.training/login.
Your login details are valid for all Espresso Tutorials products (et.training, Library App, infoday.io, forum.espresso-tutorials.com).
If your password assignment link has expired, you can use the "Forgot password" function at https://et.training/login to have a new link sent to you using your email address.
Reset password
If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it at https://et.training/login.
Enter your email address in the email field and click on "Activate account." You will then receive an email with a link to reset your password. The link is valid for 1 hour.
IP access
It is possible to access our learning platform via IP-based access. If your current IP address falls within the IP ranges stored with us, you will be logged in directly when you call up et.training.
IP-based access is reserved for our corporate and university customers.
If you cannot log in via your IP access, please contact our support team. You can find more information about the IP address sent from your computer to our system on et.training/debug. The IP address displayed here is processed in our system. processed. Please enter this IP address when contacting our support.
Cancel subscription
You can cancel your subscription by clicking onet.training log in, click on your profile picture at the top right and select “Subscriptions” from the menu that appears. All your subscriptions are displayed here and you can cancel them directly. For subscriptions taken out before February 2023 or by invoice, please send us an e-mail to info@espresso-tutorials.com.
After cancellation, you will still have full access to the learning platform until the end of the subscription period. Cancellation must be made at least 14 days before the subscription is renewed. Free trial accounts do not need to be canceled; they expire without renewal and without cost.
General features
Search products
To search for content, you can use both the search box on the home page and the “Discover” button. The search can also be opened on all pages by clicking on the magnifying glass icon in the navigation area.
All relevant search results will be displayed. All book content and selected video content will be searched automatically. If your search term is found in the content of one of these learning materials, the five most relevant sections will be displayed and you can access them directly. You can also display all sections found in the learning content.
Favorite content
You can favorite content by clicking on the greyed-out heart symbol next to the desired product. Products marked in this way are displayed on your start page under Favorites or under et.training/dashboard/profile/favorites.
To remove learning content from your favorites, click on the red heart icon again.
Create learning reminder
By clicking on the calendar icon in the learning content overview or in the detailed views, you can create learning reminders for the respective content and download them in iCal format for MS Outlook or Apple Calendar.
You have the following setting options:
- Name of the learning reminder
- Frequency: how often would you like to study (once/daily/weekly/monthly); depending on your selection, you can enter a specific date or day of the week
- Duration in minutes (5, 10, 20, 30, 60)
- Time
- Reminder: how many minutes/hours/days before the scheduled appointment you would like to be reminded.
After creating the reminder, download it by clicking on Apple/Outlook and import the file into your calendar by clicking on the file.
Bookmark
The learning platform automatically creates bookmarks when viewing learning content, allowing you to seamlessly continue consuming the learning content when you reopen it. You can set individual bookmarks yourself at any time in all learning content by clicking on the "Bookmark" icon.
Learning content read or viewed
Have you finished working through a book or video? Then mark it as complete by clicking on the "Check" icon. The learning content marked in this way will be displayed in green in the overview.
Personalization Dashboard
You can personalize the display of your dashboard. To do this, click on your profile picture in the top right corner and then on "Personalization" in the menu. You can sort, activate, and deactivate the content elements that are important to you using drag & drop.
Areas of interest
Based on your areas of interest, the learning platform automatically suggests content in your dashboard. You can edit your areas of interest by clicking on your profile picture in the top right corner and then clicking on "Areas of interest" in the menu.
Multilingual
Our learning platform is available in four languages: German, English, French, and Spanish. In addition, you will find some learning content in Japanese and Portuguese.
We offer support in German and English.
Offline availability
You can save learning content in book format on your mobile device via our iOS/Android app and access it offline via the app, allowing you to continue reading anywhere, even without an internet connection.

Profiles & Subscriptions
Personal data
You can update your personal profile data in your profile.
Your data will not be displayed to other users; only your name will be displayed in abbreviated form together with your ratings.
Update email address
You can update your email address in your profile. Once you have saved your new email address, you will receive an email confirming the change. Without confirming the new email address, it will not be updated.
Profile picture
You can update your profile picture in your profile by clicking on the small camera icon next to the picture and uploading your desired photo.
Manage purchases and subscriptions
To view your current subscriptions, click on “View Subscriptions” in your profile. All active subscriptions are listed.
You can cancel your subscriptions directly and buy new subscriptions as well.
Please note that subscriptions taken out before May 4, 2022, must be canceled by email rather than directly. To do so, simply click on "Cancel by email" and send the email: our support team will then process and confirm the cancellation for you.
To view your purchases, click on "Purchases" in your profile. All purchases made will be listed.
Change payment details
To change your current payment details for a subscription, click on "View invoices" in your profile. All invoices will be listed.
Now click on "Update payment details" under "Action." This feature is only available for subscriptions purchased after February 2024. If your subscription is older than that, please send us an email at info@espresso-tutorials.com.

Books
To consume our book content, we offer you the option of choosing between three different reading modes.
We recommend Native Mode for the best reading experience.

Native display
In the open book, you can type the desired search term into the search field at the top right. The entire book will be searched. All results will be displayed in a drop-down menu. Click on a search result to go directly to the corresponding place in the book.
By clicking on a section in the table of contents in the right sidebar, you can jump to the desired learning content.
By clicking on the button, you can adjust the visual appearance of the book, such as font size, font, and color.
Click to switch to citation mode.
Click to add the book to your favorites or remove it.
Evaluate the product. If you have already submitted a review, you can update it here.
You can highlight text passages in HTML mode, write notes on them, and save them for later use. Clicking on the "Highlighter" button will display all the highlights and notes you have saved in this learning content. Clicking on a highlight will take you directly to the corresponding place in the learning content. The saved text passages can also be cited. The following citation styles are available for your bibliography: APA, Harvard, IEEE.
You can easily create highlights by selecting a section of text with the mouse and clicking on the "Highlighter" icon in the context menu that appears. The selected text will then be highlighted in yellow. By clicking on the speech bubble icon in the context menu, you can also write a note directly.
Click on the quotation mark icon in the left-hand control menu to access general information on academic citation. The following citation styles are available for your bibliography: APA, Harvard, IEEE.

Here you can open the book in your browser's full-screen mode.
FastSpeed reading mode
Here you can activate/deactivate the quick read mode.
If you want to search for a highlighted term in the glossary, highlight the term with the mouse and click on the "book" icon in the context menu that appears. The highlighted term will now be searched for in the glossary and the matching answers will be displayed.
Select the desired text and right-click on the "Copy" icon in the context menu that appears. The text will be saved to your clipboard. IMPORTANT: A maximum of 500 characters can be copied.
eReader
Clicking on the button opens a search field that you can use to search for specific content in the book. All results are displayed in a separate window. Click on a search result to go to that location in the book.
Click to open the table of contents. Clicking on a section takes you to the appropriate place in the book.

Playlist
All videos in the learning content appear in the playlist. You can start the relevant video by clicking on it. Bookmarks are automatically set in the background so that you can continue watching the video from where you left off when you call it up again.

Our learning paths guide you through a specific topic and help you learn faster.
Online training
Would you like to learn about a new SAP topic or deepen your knowledge? But where can you fit fixed appointments into your already busy schedule?!
Espresso Tutorials has put together an online training package that allows you to learn anytime, anywhere: high-quality videos and regular interactive web sessions.
Create your own comfortable learning environment and flexibly determine your optimal learning times. Supplement what you have learned with selected e-books on the topic in our professional SAP library. Our trainers will answer your questions in weekly live expert sessions. These sessions are recorded and made available to participants afterwards.
Our online training courses are currently only available in German.
Online training courses are not part of a subscription to the SAP learning platform and can be booked atwww.espresso-tutorials.de/training .
Certificates
After successfully completing the learning path, you can use a certificate to demonstrate your special knowledge of this SAP topic. Please allow yourself sufficient time for your certification, as the exam requires some learning and practice. After successful accreditation, you will immediately receive a digital certificate that you can add to your profiles (e.g., LinkedIn). You can also purchase certifications individually.

Process of a certificaion
To pass a certification, you must answer a certain number of multiple-choice questions correctly. If you have answered the required number of questions correctly, you have passed the test. You will then receive your certificate in PDF format in German and English, as well as an evaluation of the questions you answered.
If you do not pass the test, you can restart the certification process. You will receive new questions from the entire question pool in a different order. You can repeat the certification as often as you like until you pass.
Espressi (Chatbot)
Our chatbot is currently available in beta version. It can help you answer SAP-specific questions. NOTE: API restrictions may occur, which could prevent the chatbot from working correctly.
Please note: The chatbot may generate incorrect answers and may not understand your question correctly. To get the most accurate answers possible, ask your question precisely and always question the answers provided. Espresso Tutorials accepts no liability for the statements made by the chatbot.
The Silver Digital subscription includes 10 inquiries per month, and the Gold Digital subscription includes 50 inquiries per month. You can optionally book additional inquiries.
Mobile Apps
With our iOS and Android app, you can easily and quickly access our learning content while on the go.
Our mobile apps offer you the same features you are accustomed to from our browser platform, as well as additional features such as offline reading.

Troubleshooting
Display problems in book content / Images are not displayed
If you encounter display problems with book content, please proceed as follows:
- Reload the page.
- Log out of the learning platform and log back in, then reopen the learning content.
- Reset your browser cache and then follow the steps in point 2.
If you continue to experience display problems, such as images not loading, please check your network and firewall settings. It is possible that the server from which the content is loaded is being blocked. Please enable the following domain in your settings: "https://et-production.fra1.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com". If you continue to experience problems, please contact our support team directly at info@espresso-tutorials.com.
Display problems with video content
If you encounter display problems with video content, please proceed as follows:
- Reload the page.
- Log out of the learning platform and log back in, then reopen the learning content.
- Reset your browser cache and then follow the steps outlined in point 2.
If you continue to experience display problems, such as videos not loading, please check your network and firewall settings. It is possible that the server from which the content is being loaded is blocked. In corporate networks, please contact your IT department for further information. If you continue to experience problems, please contact our support team directly at info@espresso-tutorials.com. To ensure a quick error analysis, please send us the URL you accessed and the information listed at et.training/debug.
If you are using a university access point with direct IP access (without entering login details), please contact our support team directly at info@espresso-tutorials.com.
Error 403 - No access
Error code 403 means that you do not have permission to open the learning content because it is outside the scope of the subscription booked by you or your company. If you have any further questions, please contact our support team directly at info@espresso-tutorials.com. To ensure a quick error analysis, please send us the URL you accessed and the information listed at et.training/debug.
Error 404 - Content not found
Error code 404 means that the learning content could not be found. If you have any further questions, please contact our support team directly at info@espresso-tutorials.com. To ensure a quick error analysis, please send us the URL you accessed and the information listedat aufet.training/debug.
Error 500
Error code 500 means that an error has occurred on the server; the administrator will be contacted automatically. Proxy settings
If you access our learning platform via a proxy and encounter access problems, please have your IT department check your settings.
Since February 2023, we have made a number of changes: We no longer use the external service ipgeolocation.io to determine IP addresses, but instead use our new API, which can be accessed at https://api.espresso-tutorials.com.
The following domain, api.espresso-tutorials.com, must be correctly enabled. Please enter the domain in the following format: *.espresso-tutorials.com.

AnonymousURL -* Why is there no content in my language?
Our platform offers learning content in German and English, as well as French, Japanese, Spanish, and Portuguese.
You can use pre-filtering to display content exclusively in your preferred language. To do this, go to the "Discover" page and select a "Language" in the filter. You will now only see learning content in your preferred language.
As of November 2025, the learning platform offers approximately 490 learning modules in English, 550 in German, 50 in French, 37 in Spanish, 10 in Japanese, and 4 in Portuguese.
